Your safety is our Top Priority
Our community has been through a lot over the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your safety.
Infection control and safety are always a top priority at Bradburn Village Dentistry. As you may have seen while visiting our office, we follow precautionary measures recommended by the American Dental Association (ADA), U.S Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Occupational Safety and Health Administration(OSHA). These infection control policies are in place to ensure you are safe and comfortable while you receive care. We want to share with you the additional precautions we’re taking in our practice to continue to keep patients and staff safe.
You will see some changes when it is time for your next appointment, which we have highlighted below. We have made these changes to help protect our patients and staff. Please call our office with any questions or concerns at 303-839-5109. We are here for you!
UPDATED SAFETY PROCEDURES
Our office will communicate with you before your appointment to ask some screening questions. If we are unable to reach you, we ask that you call us back at 303-839-5109 before your appointment.
We ask that you wear a mask to your appointment and keep it on while communicating with staff until asked to take it off by your provider.
To respect social distancing recommendations we are limiting the number of patients in our office common areas like our patient lounge. Please text or call us at 303-839-5109 when you arrive for your appointment and stay in your car. You will receive a text or call back when your room is clean and ready for you.
Upon entering the office there will be hand sanitizer in our reception lounge that we will ask you to use. If you would prefer to wash your hands with soap and water before signing in that will also be available to you.
You’ll be asked some screening questions again and a COVID-19 questionnaire will need to be signed. Your temperature will be taken and recorded in your chart before you go back for your appointment.
You will see that our waiting room will no longer offer magazines and children’s toys since those items are difficult to clean and disinfect. We will also be temporarily stopping our snack and coffee service. Please bring a water bottle to your appointment and let us know if we can refill it for you.
We will still have prizes available for children after their visits, but they will need to point to what they want, not dig through the box.
All of our staff will be wearing personal protective equipment of various protection degrees depending on exposure. The dental team will have masks, face shields and hair protection as well as the normal lab coats and gloves we always wear that are changed out or sterilized between patients.
We have shifted our cleaning products to a less toxic, but more effective hydrogen peroxide based solution and are allowing additional time between room usage. We are continuing to use disposable barriers on equipment touched by our providers that are changed out between patients.
Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. That might mean that you’re offered fewer options for scheduling your appointment.
Our staff is being screened every shift as well and will be sent home if any signs/symptoms or exposure are detected.
We look forward to seeing you soon and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you, and every patient, safe in our practice. To make an appointment, please call our office at office number or email us at stammdental04@gmail.com.
Thank you for being our patient. We value your trust and loyalty and look forward to welcoming back our patients, neighbors and friends.
