When I think of a dental emergency what it comes to my head first it’s an issue its going on and have to resolve before been too uncomfortable, first of all take a radiographic of the mouth where is hurting. Have the doctor Come in and give details to doctor Of what’s going on with patient, do a limited exam on that area so we can see and try to solve the problem. In the radiographic we can see the whole tooth and its root, see if it has an infection, swollen cheek, pus, on/off pain that just comes and goes or is it often, how painful would you rate the tooth, it could be a tooth got cracked or bite wrong, pressure since we are checking the area of mouth affected we can also see if it’s the gums causing some pain. After this examination gets done doctor will be able to give the patient advice on what to do and what’s best to get them out of pain and get patient comfortable.
